This new artificial intelligence model, titled “Hanooman,” has the potential to change the field, especially in the Indian sub-continent, completely. The announcement happened recently at a technology conference in Mumbai that was led by IIT Mumbai and arranged by Sita Mahalakshmi Healthcare in collaboration with Bharat GPT.
As a member of the Bharat GPT collaboration, Hanuman represents a major advancement in India’s AI development. The model is a collection of 22 Indian languages that have been painstakingly taught as Indic Large Language Models. It is being promoted as an open-source invention with an official release date of May, which promises accessibility and inclusivity.
